Thursday 4/13/06: It hits the fan
I was too busy playing newsguy to get any photos myself. (It's one of the downsides of being a RADIO News Director. It's not so much a visual medium. On the plus side, all you need to do your job is a cellphone. And no pesky newsvan to maneuver through the rubble! It also helps that I live two blocks from the overturned cars and a wrecked church...)
So instead of the usual photo gallery, here's some other people's work from that night. (I'll try and make some MP3's from the tapes of that night's KCJJ broadcast, too...including my interview with the guy who noted, "The cops told us to get the f--- out of there!" I'll submit that one for a Peabody.)
